History of Philanthropy

Human Investments

The History of Philanthropy, narrated by Liam Neeson, has been designed to be a modular production that can be used in several ways. It was created in an effort to fill an educational void and offer an additional tool to those in the philanthropic community.

The full-length (72 minutes) Educational Version offers a historic overview of giving throughout the ages, illustrated with stunning museum images and combined with commentary from distinguished experts and authors in the field.

The history portion of the production (12 minutes) was also designed to be viewed as a stand-alone program, offering various applications for audiences of all ages.

A Hybrid Version can be created by treating the History portion as a book-end format and adding new interviews specific to an organization, foundation or fundraising cause.
